Fantastic - she was great as Anne Boleyn in The Tudors, really hot Looks better as a brunette though.

All the character's are a bit older in the series than they are in the book- probably for both mortal and practical reason(older actor's are better).

Just finished the 2nd book and I noticed a few parts of the book were transferred from it to the first TV series.

The casting that will be most interesting for me will be Brienne of Tarth; one of the few major characters of the series who hasn't been introduced yet. It will be hard to find anyone with the right build and looks, and with acting ability, I think, so I'm wondering if they'll uglify someone.

She's pretty big, taller than most men, if I recall correctly.

I can't recall is described as ugly? I remember plain but I'm probably wrong. They'll probably have to get a pro weather or something to play her, they can act a bit at least. Either that or a body builder

For those who have read the books they best cover the battles properly in this series. They are key to the story, and so cool
