Well, after much pestering from housemates I finally watched this, and holy hell it's amazing. Easily filled the gaping hole left by Lost, I just wish it was longer!

I can't wait for season 2 - any rumours for a release date?

Please no, this is not Sparta, this program has a story :(

He can actually act and I think would fit in a Fantasy setting quite well. Sean Bean is still king of period pieces and Fantasy acting tho :p He just LOOKS like he stepped out of the dark ages.

By the way Karl Drogo is in the remake of Conan the Barbarian.

He is indeed...saw the trailer for it when i went with the missus to watch transformers 3 yesterday in the cinema....that looks to be a cracker of a movie.

Almost finished the 3rd book then ill be starting on the 4th book...there is a 5th book coming out isnt there??...whens that due out??.

But the 3rd book is immense regardless...my god do things get really ****ed up in the 3rd book....i dont know how the author is going to finish it but im looking forward to seeing how it all ends.

Love this show, but it really annoys me the lack of advertising it gets over here.

I don't have sky so didn't realise it had even aired here yet, and no one I know seems to have heard of it. Wish it was on BBC or something

Thank goodness for the healthy torrent scene ;)

It probably could have been on BBC if only the BBC would stop spending all their budget on celebrity pensioners dancing on ice ball rooms and Mr Darcy Elizabethan falls off his horse and into love with Lady Soppydress in the 19th century dramas :)

Well Sky bought the UK rights to *all* HBO shows so the BBC would have had to stump up megabucks for more than just GoT. Probably would have been worth it though :) I think the BBC were actually involved in the production of GoT too - providing casting services I think (note how many players in it are British).

Dance with Dragons is out tomorrow and I seriously cannot wait, I'm giddy like a school child with excitement.

Yep already ordered mine...cant wait to get it although im just starting the fourth book but im desperate to see how everything pans out in the fifth book.
