Fantastic work as usual Ray, you're getting better every time by the looks of it.

I love no. 8, the wide angle, the expressions, the pigeons, it all works so well.

Also, I don't know what you do to your photos, but you get such amazing colours all of the time. I would love to know your processing technique (but don't expect you to divulge such information :p)

EDIT: I also love 11!

Again amazing work by you! :)

Like ScarySquirrel I too also wonder how you manage to get such bright and vibrant colours, it shows here and every other photo you take, even showed through when you did your test shots with your 135L!

Sure they will love them

Thanks guys, there are still 99% of the work to do, and hopefully there will be more gems in there !

Getting colours into the shots is easy and its hard, depending on whats in the scene. I find when there are some colours in the scene it makes it a lot easier. But as to how? It's a secret :p I do do all my processing in Lightroom so there are no special bought Actions off the net, and I try to keep the processing consistent so that it pops and stands out and the photos says Me without looking at the watermark.

I like them all, apart from 13 and 14. Your usual post-processing is spot on but these 2 seems to have got abit over the top on saturation? I can see the bokeh on the right hand side showing signs of it.

Otherwise, I love number 8 the best. If only those pigeons were white/Doves :D

Firstly really lovely shots. I am sure they will be really pleased. I love the shot of all the school kids. Is there one of them throwing the confetti? Not so keen on the pigeon in the shot though, even though it is comical.

With regards to processing; I totally agree, I thinks its very important to adopt your own style. I can tell your work immediately (high contrasts with rich saturation and very sharp; almost too much but not quite, if you get what I mean).

:)

I wonder if people could guess who took a photo if it was posted anonymously on OcUK. I think a few people would stand out as they do seem to have a really consistent style.

I think that's what we all strive for, beyond taking a competent photo, getting a "look" that is recognisable without the watermark. The way to do that is find a processing you like and comfortable with and stick to it.

Thanks :)

There are a few with the kids, I am sure there are some with kids throwing the confetti, they were throwing it before she walked down the steps though so a lot, and i mean a LOT missed them.

Some more :)

As usual Raymond these are amazing! I love the post processing method definitely makes your photos instantly recognisable.
