Wireless gaming and the Obutto R3volution

So I just got hold of the above gaming cockpit and while everything is working out flawlessly so far and it certainly transforms most aspects of my gaming so far one of my annoyances is that my current keyboard/mouse (razer blackwidow and zowie fk2) are both wired and basically mean I have to climb over stuff to get into the seat.

Are there any mechanical gaming keyboards on the market currently, or is there a less costly alternative?

Anyone have the Obutto? How have you handled the cables everywhere situation?

Glad you got a Obutto R3volution in the end

I've been using a wired keyboard & mouse with mine, with no problems
at all.

Got the mouse on the keyboard tray, which is fitted to the right hand side of the cockpit.

And I put my keyboard on the left hand side acrylic table.

So when I enter the cockpit from the left hand side, nothing gets in the way !

I use it for everything not just sums so the keyboard needs to be on the tray. Gonna grab some usb extensions and try tidy it all up. Would live a wireless mechanical keyboard but they all seem pants in comparison to what I have
