Hey

I've been looking for some wireless headphones for a while now and was wondering what people think of the Sennheiser RS 130 kit?

Seems they've been around for a while now and looking at some reviews you could buy them cheaper in the past then you can now. (Best price I've seen is £82)

I used to have a full home cinema system back home but now that I'm living in a flat I can't really use it due to the bass annoying my neighbours. So I'm trying to find a decent pair of wireless headphones to use when watching movies or listening to music.

I know a wired set would be better but I'd need a stupidly long cable, so I can sacrifice a bit of quality for convenience.

Anyone here own a pair, or used them before?

They are good phones. You can buy the RS140 for £80. Same as the 130 I believe except the 140 are closed. 130's have a truer sound when I looked at a comparison review. Which would go along with the open phones having more natural sound thing.

As for the price, well Sennheiser has hiked the price of a lot of their phones, so it woujld not surprise me to see these have also gone up. I don't think you can do any better without spending more than £100. I did see some Beyerdynamics RSX700 were highly rated. £120 I think they are.

Thanks Marsman

I found the RS140 phones at £80 but I think I'd prefer the open headset from the RS130 set.

Do the RS140's have any other features over the RS130's

I've owned a set of RS130's for around a year now. Excellent headphones, I have no experience with expensive wired headphones but personally I'm more than happy with the sound quality the RS130's produce. The range on them is very impressive as well, I can leave them plugged in to my pc in the lounge then go into my back garden (30ft + away and through two solid walls in a victorian house) for a ciggie and there is still no inteference!!

Sounds good McHaMmEr

Decided to wait till after Christmas, hopefully they'll be in the sales but I'd rather buy these in-store so I can take them back easily if I have any problems.

My main concern is interference as we have loads of wireless networks around our flat.
