Evening guys.
I've recently setup an FTP server, to which I would like other people in my workgroup to have access. This is how the setup goes at the moment.
MY PC -->> LAN Cable to server -->> USB WiFi Dongle -->> (Connected to WiFi Router).
My PC and all other PCs are also connected to this WiFi Router.
On my PC I am able to see all computers + the FTP server. However on all the other computers they can't see the FTP and can see other machines on WiFI.
At the moment I use the LAN connection on my PC to server for a faster connection. The server only has this cable connected and power cable. I use remote desktop to control it ect.
What I want to know, is why can all the other machine not see the FTP server.
Also, when on the FTP server I can only see my computer which is connected via LAN. Nothing else. I also cannot ping the default gateway and can only ping my Machine?
The WiFi says it's connected though...so I am here.
Any ideas guys?
Many thanks!
