Wireless Range

I have Belkin wireless router, which just doesnt seem up to the job of sending the signal up 1 flight of stairs and through 2 walls.

So I need to replace it with something with a better range/stronger signal, cany recomendations?

I have a limited funds for this, so a good power : price ratio would be appreciated.

edit: or is there something cheap and easy I can do to increase the range of my Belkin router?

Not sure about which new wireless router to get but have you considered a system which will let the internet travel around the house through the electric sockets. They cost about £50.

I just set up one of these systems up for a friend who had trouble getting a good wireless signal. He now gets a perfect connection anywhere in the house.
