Hi, i'm looking to get a new router/modem for my home network.

I'm now doing a networking course and would like to get more involved in different ways of setting up networks

The typical setup i will be having will be a wired connection to my desktop pc and a wireless connection to my laptop (and my nintendoDS when i get bored ;) )

I am currently experimenting with setting up an ftp server and using iis to have a website run from my pc so would like it to have lots of options for port forwarding etc

What router/modem would you recommend for about £100 max. also it must be compatible with a Netgear WG511 PCMCIA card which i use in the laptop

Thanking you kindly in advance for any help

Darren

It would help if you mentioned if you had ADSL or Cable.

Anyway, Linksys WRT54GS if you've got cable, or Netgear DG834G (not the GT) if you've got ADSL.

sorry, it's adsl. i've used the dg834g before and found it abit weird with the way it's port forwarding works
