Hello folks
I'm just connecting the various front panel bits and pieces on the ATCS 840 case to a Gigabyte UD5 mobo and I just want to check something.
On the mobo there is 3 pins labeled Power LED, But from the case there are just 2 single pin wires (each labeled P LED. One -, one +).
I'm pretty sure these are the correctly corresponding connectors, but which 2 of the 3 pins on the mobo should I plug into?
Thanks.

Two more wiring questions for this case with a UD5 mobo.

The case comes with a 5" wire with a small speaker at one end and a 4 pin plug at the other. It is clear where this needs to be plugged, but it just seems odd that the little speaker will just be left hanging in space at the end of the wire - is that right?

Also, I just want to be sure about connecting the fans. It's obvious where the cpu fan goes, but the rest of the case fans - can they plug into any sys_fan or pwr_fan socket?
Sys_fan 1 and 3, and pwr-fan each have 3 pins, but sys_fan2 has 4 pins - so I just want to make sure I'm plugging things into the correct sockets.
I see that there is also a nb_fan (north bridge), which of the case fans is the north bridge fan and connects here?
Thanks :)

re the first question, theyll go on the pins either side, leave middle one blank, youll have to check either on the mobo itself or in the manual which is + and -
I guess just tuck the speaker out the way somewhere
re the mobo headers, yeah you can use any really, if you go into BIOS after you'll be able to control them all individually anyway, so as long as you know whats what youre good

Thanks 95thrifles
What about the nb_fan header? I can't think what this can be referring to.
In what seems to be the absence of a north bridge fan, can I again plug any case fan I want into this socket?

Yep - its a standard 3-pin fan connector, its just designed to be local to the NB for a NB fan hence being labelled nb_fan. You can put any 3pin fan onto it.

Open that manual which came with motherboard and go to page 32. Then start reading.
(manual is meant to be used before firing up and waiting for the smoke to clear)

Sysfan 2 port seems really crazy with that talk about 5V in pin four so might be better to not connect anything to it.
