With every Flash update, the plugin crashes more and more

GMail is Flash based? I thought GMail was Ajax and JavaScript.

And Gmail's not flashed based...

^ you must be using some sort of 3rd party gmail..cause im looking at the source page for gmail and no flash or swf files are there

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's based on it, but gmail will use Flash if it's there.

I think maybe if someone embeds a youtube video into an email they send you, then it'll load up Flash?

Nope, just on the general inbox view as posted above. Maybe it's for the file uploader or that chat thing but there is definitely some Flash activity going on (for Chrome at least)

Ok just tried it, while checking task manager, then clicking my Gmail bookmark, while loading the page flash loads up. So there's flash hiding somewhere...

Flash is buggy as hell with this newest release.

I couldn't even close the ad because the video had offset with the page or something. Really irritating if you're watching a Downfall parody because you can't read the damn subtitles

The real problem is that you're using IE

i still not had any issues really with IE9 (which is a good browser on HTML5 sites) with Adblock + Speccie + Tracking blocking

IE9 is fine, I actually like it and used it for a long time. Its a good browser. I just like Chrome more at the moment.

my twitch.tv was crashing like crazy after the last update, but i right click settings and allowed it local storage
stopped the crashing and big ty to my friend for telling me^^
