Withdraw cash from credit card that's in credit?

Magnolia, I always clear my balance to zero every month, so I guess they charge me £3 as I'm a low-risk customer and they don't make money off me otherwise?

I think they charge you that because they are a **** credit card company?
Change provider unless they give you some benefits that others don't.

Thanks guys. With a -27 lens in my only eye, I've never been able to drive :p But you're right about supermarket shops. I can normally reset my credit card back to 0 every month but I'll have to be more careful this year as I'm about £150 per month worse off than last tax year.

If you don't drive then the Santander 123 one is the wrong choice, the cashback won't be higher than the fee.

Capital One Mastercard will get you a bit of cashback (free money) or just go for the basic Santander card, which won't get you any.

It was MBNA (Maryland Bank) piggy-backed onto Alliance & Leicester, but is now purely MBNA since the A&L element is defunct.

Had exactly the same card until recently. Exactly the same situation, used to be an A&L card, now MBNA.

Never ever run into a £3 charge for using it online other than if I was putting money into my bet365 account.
