Both these seem like a good choice and neither of them have anything I need over the other, I'm leaning towards the Asus RT-N16, will I regret not getting the WNDR3700?

I've got the RT-N16, once I installed tomatoUSB it was flawless. There have been a few problems with the ASUS firmware which I experienced but once tomato was on it then I've not had any problems and it's great.

I have the WNDR3700 and Netgear are updating it every few months. Most recent firmware update was some weeks ago. it's all good and routing power as mentioned above is very good.

It also looks smart as ****.

I would have looked at the Asus but it wasn't out when I got the Netgear :p

The WNDR3700 it is then :P

Serieously though I still can't decide. The N16 with custom firmware is solid by all accounts and the WNDR3700 is also highly regarded.

I might just go for the N16 and see how it goes, purely just because it's cheaper.
