Woman gives birth - Didn't know she was pregnant!

A girl I went to college with years ago admitted to being born like this on the toilet. This is something that surely you would never admit. Needless to say she was know as "toilet baby" from that day on.

i don't need statistics, just a memory. stories like these have been reported hundreds of times over the years. either your not paying attention or you were born yesterday

Is this what you found during your pregnancies, and hence your expertise? To point out the mildly obvious, it's not massively rare for women to continue to menstruate throughout pregnancy. Some women get huge when carrying, others barely show. Some babies kick, other don't. Women giving birth without being aware of being pregnant are not uncommon: the wife of an ex-colleague gave birth in the bathroom utterly unaware she was pregnant until that point.
