Woman glues eye shut

can't imagine that, I hate things in my eye :E

tbh, i was half expecting a quote..

"I couldn't sleep, so I though this would help", thank god that's not the case !

If it was nail glue then I don't know why they gave her paraffin to dissolve it, acetone is what you need for cyanacrylate, cheap nail polish remove normally does the job but I've no idea if you could splash it around your eyes without causing more damage.

Our youngest accidently caught my eye with his fingernail and I had a deep scratch across my eye. It is the most painful thing that I have ever experienced (and I know quite a lot about pain) plus my whole eye was swollen for a week and I couldn't see properly out of it for a further 3 weeks.

But honestly, who keeps their eye drops next to their nail glue when they're in identical bottles?

I wouldn't want to be pouring acetone into my eye as that would burn like Tabasco sauce up the back passage

Easy done really, a friend of mine who washes her dogs in the bath grabbed a bottle of dog shampoo and used it on her own head once, her hair was really dry and strawlike for about 3 days, on a positive note though she remaining free from fleas and ticks for 3 weeks.

My mum's friend did this with super glue - thought it was eye drops! Hahaha can you actually believe it - oh yeah, she's blonde as well!

I don't think its serious with super glue mind you.

What a complete tool. Who has nail glue in an identical bottle to eyedrops, and puts them both next to their bed for use during the night? What a rocket scientist.
