LOL reminds me when my brother paid £400 for a brand new 32" TV about 12 yrs ago...only to find that when they dropped it off, it was a TV alright but without the innards:p.

It even had the name Sony on it...talk about being ripped off but he took it like a champ and laughed about it...his missus wasnt too pleased though:p

A friend of mine bought 3 mobiles phones the very same way, he got home opened the bag and found cans of coke :D :D :D

He said that this was the most expensive coke he had ever drank LOL :D.

i used to work in a car repair shop and one lunch time, two irish folk pulled up in a van offering electrical goods. 2 work colleagues were interested in a laptop and digital camera they were selling, so much so, that the one bloke rang his wife at home and told her to bring £250 for the laptop and digital camera. i watched the exchange take place and the van drive off. now, when i mean watched, i mean i was looking in at the cab and saw them display the laptop working, shut it down, zip up the case, hand it over and take the money, same with the digital camera. the bloke took the laptop bag into his work area and couldn't get the zip open easily, he did it after a little force and was greeted by onions and other packaging, same for the digital camera. the zip had been super glued to give them time to drive off (not that you'd really want to confront these people) but i could not get my head around how they did the swap because i watched them very closely.

I lol'd at this to be honest. I do not understand why anyone thinks that buying something into many hundreds of pounds is a good idea from some randomer in the street. If they are cheap then either its a scam or you must know you are buying stolen goods.

Given the complete lack of sympathy, I guess no-one here would possibly fall for this scam, right?

Though I admit I wouldn't - random guy turns up and invites me to buy random stuff. Yeah, probably stolen then. It's not rocket science.
