Women, boyfriends, crap cars and image. Why does this annoy me?

describe what you mean by annoyed. do you mean that in general you get irritated that some people over exaggerate things to make themselves seem a lot better, or that they are clueless and believe whatever they are told? or is it just this one person in particular?

to be honest, women will always be impressed by things they deem to be good. whether it is or not doesn't matter, how do you think designer labels and stuff gets away with charging soo much. most women are vein.

Unless she's some petrol head, any women impressed by a car isn't worth it. Gold digger.

I'd be dragging OAPs if I try and impress females with my car. Vroom vroom... Toyota iQ!
 
I used to/still kinda get women looking at me when i drove a 2001 316i, 05 525D, 06 320D, 09 330D and now back to a 06 320D. Its the badge, car was average but the badge somehow still seems to have that prestige thing that i think it lost a loong time ago when every Tom Dick and Ongalongo started to own one.

I used to drive an old Nissan Micra (old box one) which smoked, backfired and sounded like a lawnmower chewing on a brick... We used to get LOADS of looks when driving around... not just other women but men, elderly, police, firemen, everyone! The Ex didn't like that... Damn double standards!
