so chuffed, I've never brought a blu-ray film before because they are usually soooo expensive, but yesterday I popped into my local cancer research shop to have a gander at the books and sitting there were these two (below) for a fiver each, I was very surprised to find blu-ray's in a charity shop, I can't imagine someone just giving them away, 'The Departed' I think is an American disk as it's rated restricted on the back but it seems to play alright, I guess the PS3 can play blu-rays from other regions ?
Anyway, I tried '300' out on my old panny projector, it's not a HD projector but even still I do notice a big difference compared to DVD (I own both), I'm not sure why, surely your projector would have to be running at a HD resolution before you notice any difference ?, but I can definitely see more detail on the blu-ray version switching between the two, also the blacks are allot better which a big plus for projector viewing.
