Agree completely. How can a Guatemalan referee, for example, do much when they barely play football?

From all the performances so far it would be a travesty if Howard Webb didn't get the final. All the other ref's have been poor.

By the rules of football it should have been a red card. Last man, denied Villa a goal scoring opportunity.

Reminds me of the Vidic one, if he gives the penalty then he *has* to send him off. Saying that, in a similar mould, hate referees telling players to get up, insinuating they obviously dived, and then not booking them. Just not dishing out the right punishments.
