TBH I don't see anyone other than Germany and Poland winning this group though :(
 
I'll be relying on the now traditional dubious officiating which has appeared to benefit the host nation in recent tournaments to ensure a trouble free passage to sweepstake glory.

Plus you can never rule out the Germans ;)

They are hosting the World Cup for goodness sake, they don’t need any more negative talk like that. Taking the pressure off the team will mean that they can have a reason to do poorly.

Poland to finish top with 7 points
Germany to hold on to second with 5 points
Costa Rica push Germany but just fall short with 4 points
Ecuador manage a World Cup Chasing 0 Points :)
 
I think Ecuador will go through with Germany, they were impressive in qualifying and I think they are better than both Poland and Costa Rica.

As for tonight I think it may be a draw.
 
I don't know anything about Costa Rica, but I was thinking about putting a little money on them beating Germany. But what are the chances though? Germany is a great team and it's the opening match in their own country, they just can't lose to CR can they?
