The BBC will be showing a preview of the World Cup finals tonight at 23:00.

Except for viewers in Scotland who will be shown the film 'Out Of Africa'

It's ok though, I understand that these jokes come from a distinct sense of relief that England won't have to face up to their inevitable humiliation at the hands of Scotland on the football pitch in a World Cup final. Don't worry, there's always the next one for us to fail to qualify for... ;)

I wouldn't bother watching it if i were you.
Everyone will get all excited about it and it'll be over-hyped saying things like "this is the one!".
In the end, it'll turn out that you expected far too much and you'll leave empty handed and disapointed.

Rent a DVD instead.
 
You sure it's not on BBC Scotland.

I've just looked up the listings for 23:00 and the programme on is 'IT WON'T BE COMING HOME' !!

Dont worry, it was a joke.
I fully expect all the english people i know (and dont) to give me lots of abuse over this for a while. Until england lose and then its my turn :D
