World of Padman: Stand Alone Complex is a total conversion mod for Quake III that has been released as a FREE stand alone game.
I hadn't seen a thread about it (apologies if I missed it) so I thought I'd give everyone a heads-up. It's a fun game with creative levels, cool weapons and a few twists on the well-trodden FPS game modes.
If you're hoping for Crysis graphics then you're going to be disappointed as the Quake III engine is starting to show its age; but the colourful cartoony levels and characters have a real charm and are keeping me coming back for more. Besides, considering the price I don't think we can complain!
