Most mornings with breakfast I have an innocent smoothie. This morning it was awful, I was almost sick. It tasted like rotten eggs, literally. I thought to myself 'oh well, they can't get every pack perfect' and went to work. Just now I had one of the innocent 'this water' drinks and it had the same foul taste! I don't think the taste is stuck in my mouth because I have had other drinks in between. Very worrying!

that is worrying.. just see what happens i suppose. i remember my brother was tucking into a chicken leg at a local resturant. and it tasted a bit funny and was a bit pink, but he kept on eating it (prat). he was off work for 2 weeks with something deadly, forgot what it was. lol

Get a blender. After about 2 weeks it pays itself off due to the extortion involved with innocents, you get to customise your own drinks and you know it is fresh.
 
Deffinatly send the bottles back..

It could just be a bad batch but best to let them know if theres something more sinister involved. should also get some free ones in return :D

also the guy who said make your own smoothies speaks the truth :cool:

Yeah, if you're drinking a couple a day, thats £42 a week, at that rate, you're better off just buying a good blender, and making your own.

I really cant see anything special about them compared to what comes out of my cheap Tescos own brand :o blender at home, aside from a bit less "bits", seeds and suchlike.

...but anyway :D , just ring up and complain. they'll probably just send you vouchers off without you even having to post them samples.
 
When I was a boy .... ahem.... I ate some Rolo that tasted odd. By time I got about half way down the tube/packet I decided to throw them away. Now about 2 or 3 days later I was out on the street with my mates and just puked my guts up on the road. I ended up in bed with food poisoning. Had to have my temp monitored every half hour. Most ill I've ever felt. Anyway, the next time I was offered a Rolo, I took it without thinking about it and guess what?... The very same odd taste. To this day I couldn't possibly eat a Rolo, and I swear I can bring the odd taste to my mouth just by thinking of them.

And the point to this .... Don't be surprised if you engage in projectile vomitting in the next day or so. :(
 
If you don't want the bits in the drinks after home blending then just pour it through a colander with small holes before drinking.

I had that. I wasn't so ill, but I had chicken nuggets which didn't taste right, after the chicken nuggets I had jaffa cakes. To this day I still hate any chocolate with orange in, simply because i ate orange chocolate on the night i had bad chicken nuggets :p
 
A home made smoothie is one of the best things you can drink :)

Whilst you do make a larger quantity then Innocent, they're not exactly cheap.
 
I love the Infommercial for the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer.... Jack and his lovely wife keep on saying how it's so "whisper quiet" (their words, not mine) but they have to shout it very loudly when the things actually running :D
