Hi all

Today I spent hours building my ITX system inside a Phanteks Shift TG... However I'm thinking it was a bad idea...

I played one game of PUBG which lasted about 20 mins, my CPU was sitting around 67'C which I don't mind but the GPU was at nearly 90'c most of the time, I touched the TG panel after and it was pretty hot...

Shall I remove the panel when gaming? Or will it be ok? Last thing I want is it to smash or crack!

I'm looking to get the mesh panel but it's out of stock currently

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Assume the spec in you sig is the system in question?

Is the mesh panel your looking for the one from the shift air? Maybe there are other parts from the air that might fit the TG version

Whats you fan setup right now?

No sorry the system specs are..

R5 2600
Asrock B450 Gaming itx
16gb Team Group Vulcan 3200mhz
Seasonic SFX 500w PSU
1660 Super Gaming OC 6gb

1 exhaust fan next to motherboard and 1 intake at the bottom of case

I doubt it will smash or crack, they would have taken that into consideration when designing it I hope.

90 isn't desirable, and is probably quite noisy, but still "acceptable" I suppose, unless it is thermal throttling.

Not the best case choice for a gaming PC. ;)

Think ill order yet another case... any ITX cases youd recommend...was thinking the Enthoo Evolv as i had that before
