Worst decisions done by companies...

To say that Pizza Express is the same or worse than Pizza Hut is ludicrous and you can't have actually eaten at one!

I once went to Pizza Hut and the jacket potato skins we had as a starter were still frozen! As they clearly just popped them in an oven and that was that!

As I pointed out earlier in this thread to those who haven't read it.
Pizza Hut hasn't made a profit in the UK since 2006... so the campaign certainly didn't do them any favors... not to mention, had it improved things, I'm sure they would have kept 'Pasta Hut' re-branding at some of their stores... since they didn't, it was pretty much a failure.

I wasn't aware they did Potato skins.

Pizza Hut is still the worlds biggest pizza chain?

They can't be doing much wrong

It wasn't a rebrand? Just an advertising campgain?

I used to work for them about 10 years ago, and you're right - pretty much everything apart from the pizzas is frozen.

The ovens have a door midway along the conveyor. Some starters/sides taken one full run to defrost/cook, some take half a run (like garlic bread).

The pasta dishes are frozen in takeaway style packaging. You open them, dump it upside down into a lasagne dish, sprinkle some cheese on the top and off it goes for 1 and a half trips through the conveyor oven.
