Worst Game of the Year 2015 - WGOTY!

I never had issues with Batman AK but can see why it would be up there with the worst game but for me it was Hardline and I bought the stupid DLC by mistake first off.

Terrible game.

Thought FIFA was crap, didn't like Arkham, tbh I'm finding the whole game scene rather meh at the moment (GTA V excluded)

Watching my lad playing Battlefront on his XBOX ONE is tempting me to buy it on pc now I've seen it, it looks better from what I've read about it tbh.

Hardline I've had for Christmas, my daughter bought it for me but I insisted she got it from Game now it's down to £14.99, I liked the beta but didn't think it was worth £50 odd on release, at under £15 its well worth a punt imo.

I suspect I will wait for Battlefront to drop to a similar price before I buy it.

Witcher 3 - massively over hyped. Sure, many hours put in, mainly because the world is so incredibly empty. Just goes to show that all people want are good graphics these days and they are sold.

You're trolling right? Even as someone who's really not into RPGs I loved Witcher 3 for the amount of story and depth it has. There's a reason it's been winning awards left and right.

It's called opinion. And yes, the game has quite a lot of flaws. Is it so hard to accept that not everyone thinks it's impeccable?

EDIT:

Metal Gear Solid V received quite a lot of 10's and 9's and deemed a great game by most reviewers, yet look at the above opinions;p Not everyone likes the same things. I think MGS V is brilliant for the polish alone and the sheer variety of tactics at my disposal but some people do not. It doesn't mean they're trolling, though.

There's a difference between that and worst game of the year :P

Fair enough, but it seems people have no problem with really good games being mentioned here as long as they're not called the Witcher 3:p
I agree it's far from being the worst game of the year, it's actually pretty good. But it is rather overrated and easily my biggest disappointment this year for various reasons.

It is called an opinion, in the same way that others have posted games that I think are really good.

I found it a complete chore to finish. People make out that it is far more perfect than it is. The first witcher game was much better and didn't rely on fancy graphics to win everyone over.

Sorry but no matter how bad some games were, there is no doubt that it's Arkham Knight. No other game needed to be pulled from sale for months because it was a completely broken mess on PC, no matter how little replayability other games have, no other AAA game has come out this year in such an appalling state for PC.

Have to agree here, ran like an absolute dog for me.

EDIT: Worst thing is that I didn't find it particularly gripping, even during the brief periods when it worked as intended. It was just too similar to its predecessors and had a worse story on top of that.

I'll add Soma to this, overrated and a massive disappointment.

Ssshhhh... I'm downloading it now.

I don't actually know much about the gameplay or story, just that the aesthetic and sound design are supposed to be good. Hoping it will be a good one for 5.1 surround in a dark room.

If it helps the balance, I thought it was one of the best games this year.

Fall out 4, genuinely just think it's hideous looking, there's no artificial intelligence in the game at all and the story is pretty dire. FO 3 was so vastly better for it's time, FO4 for me honestly brings nothing to the table that's new or improved.

I haven't bought many new games this year though so my options are rather limited!

I disliked it but couldn't really figure out why, probably spent more time playing Gwent than the storyline, found it more fun. I WANTED to love the game but like the first two just couldn't get into it at all :(
