Worst online purchasing experience to date.

Just voicing that I'm having fun with DPD atm as well. Honestly someone has seriously screwed up. I am in the process of sorting it out with OcUK. Interesting that others are having problems...

If I treasted my customers like they have treated me my managers would be so unimpressed.

I have seen a city link driver walk on boxes to get to the back of the van once.

I seriously hope nothing is wrong with my delivery - otherwise I WILL definitely be super annoyed.

I ordered a blu-ray disc from Amazon and delivery was supposed to be on the 23rd of December, it finally turned up yesterday. Oh well, White Christmas will just have to wait untill next December for it's first airing.

The problem with deliveries over the last few weeks is that the snow has caused chaos with post piling ever higher each day. I'm still awaiting a few birthday presents that where ordered before Christmas and should have been here before the 3rd of January. These things happen when 1" of snow descends on England.

Kidding aside, I hope your goodies turn up soon, there's nothing worse than having to stay in all day/week in the hope that the delivery van rolls up outside your home with your order onboard.

I dont think the adverse weather conditions can be used as an excuse that deeply - its simply inexcusable that they've made me wait for 4-5 days when promising me "they will deliver to me next day"

Really? How long have you waited for you delivery. I see they was rude to you too... how did they treat you?

They weren't particularly rude, they jut lied about what they could/couln't do and I kept getting an automated line, not actually a person to speak to.

It's been about two weeks since my original order.

Hopefully it will arrive today (and wont be broken) or I'll just have to cancel the order I think. :(

OP, I feel for you bro. OcUK does have amazing customer service, though and in my experience DPD have been sloooooooow, but reliably so if that makes sense.

GL getting your system, I think we'd all be champing at the bit if ours were late.

This is the problem with franchises. They are somewhat autonomous and vary from area to area. It was the same with CityLink. At home in Gravesend, they were awful, but at University in Hull, they were really great. I've had no issues with DPD here, but I'm not surprised that there issues elsewhere.

Also bear in mind that it is usually the people who have had issues who are vocal about their dissatisfaction. People who have decent service tend not to make posts about it.
