Worth upgrading from a GTX 570 to a 7950 at 1440p?

Run a min/max/avg benchmark using Fraps or something similar. This will give you a better idea. And get in the action as well and play normally otherwise you could give people the wrong impression.

Enjoy! :)

Indeed because I would hate to sell my 680's and then find out that a 7950 does dip into the 50's like a 670/80/7970 does. I understand we can close our eyes at times but honesty is better when telling others "Overclocks like a beast and bf3 never drops bellow 60 and it averages at 90 fps ish."

Not having a dig at all but you must agree that it seems strange that a 7950 beats a 680 in a game that favours/favoured Nvidia?

Indeed. It's all good though :)

I ran FRAPS benchmark in AK for about 10 mins (before I got bored - I hate AK) and my minimum FPS was err... about 58 from memory. So I have to concede I dropped under 60 but from what I could tell without making a percentile graph it was above 70 the mass majority of the time.

1080p full Ultra, overclocked to 1300 Mhz and 7.1 Ghz on the memory.

I have only played very limitedly on BF3 lately as I am so bored of it (lvl 100 will do that) but using my poor memory, I couldn't quite remember but deffo remember dropping into 50's when I was blowing a tank up with C4. Averages and lows is what I use mostly when looking at benches.

I'd be interested to hear what the frame rate drops to when you are standing next to an exploding tank, with all the smoke and destruction. That's where you get the most intense test of your GPU.
