Worth upgrading my BENQ XL2411T to another 144hz monitor?

Hi all,

I bought this monitor many, many years ago (around 2013 I believe). Now, the monitor has no inherent issues but the picture quality has always been lacking a bit, I think due to limitations of 144hz at the time?

I've been eyeing up the Asus TUF Gaming VG249Q. I'm wondering whether it's worth it? Will I see a noticeable improvement in picture quality? Is this possible in 144hz?

I upgraded mine to a Dell S2716DG - Nice to have GSync, 1440p and 144Hz... But I do miss the black eQualizer that the BenQ monitor had.

That been said, 27" at 1440p is a nicer screen to game on.

The Acer monitor above does look good.

What are the rest of your system specs like? It might be a struggle for your system to jump from 1080p to 1440p

I'm in exactly the same situation and looking for an upgrade from my BenQ XL2411T too.

If you do get a new monitor, I'd be interested in what you decided to go for in the end as it will be a few months yet before I bite the bullet.

I'm currently using 2x Asus monitors, both are 27" 1920*1080 @60hz. These are about 10 years old and really showing their age image wise.

If i'm only using them for MS Office, web browsing and Netflix is it worth looking at higher resolution and refresh rates? Happy to keep them at 27".
