I've heard a lot of good things about these billion routers, feature wise and stability wise.

I'm with UKO and my connection does seem to time out once or twice a day, requiring a quick unplug of the router. It's not a major problem, but a bit of an inconvinience obviously.

Another bigger problem is that i've been trying to connect to ghost recon aw 2 servers but simply can't get in. Is it possible a new router / settings may help me? (that's a more minor aspect, but i'd still like to play it)

I have a Billion 7402 but for speed of connection and hanging onto a line it is well beaten by a Broadcom chipset Thomson Speedtouch 780WL (£40 ish) The best part of the Billion is the interface.

The DG834GT uses the Broadcom BCM6348 chipset - you won't find much better at holding onto lines than that (same as Speedtouch 780WL).

I replaced by DG834GT with a billion 7402 and got 2mb extra sync speed. Although the main reason I chose to get it was for the QOS and VPN stuff.

Worth noting I am with UKonline on the 22mb service and have no probs with the billion, or the DG834GT
