Worth upgrading?

I got me an AMD X2 6000+ @ 3.11ghz.

I have never built a PC before, or touched sensetive parts such as the mobo, CPU, gfx card. I have changed HDD's and rams a few times.

Is it worth my upgrading to an i5 750 and a p55 motherboard, from this setup, bearing in mind im a noob at this.

Well, my CPU is, IMO crap.

I havent seen benchmarks and stuff. But It's a pretty shoddy piece of crap.

The only problem for me is that i've got a dual gpu setup (crossfire to be exact) and the 1366 socket is supposed to be a lot better for that, and also upgradability.

I'm wondering though, how soon 6-cores will become used in games...
