which one the 3700 ? and ive got a 8600gt 512 just changed my x1800xt 256mb for it as i didnf think it had enuff ram and was too loud lol

ive looked through that cyberlink requirments and says i should have a 3800 x2 as minimum so i think that might be the problem or is that a load BS ?:o

If you have a 8600GT then if you play a blu ray, the heavy lifting will be done by the graphics card. The CPU doesn't do much at all - so you will be fine.

For example, the ION boards use a puny atom processor - but they can play Blu Rays fine as the real computing is done by the integrated graphics, not the CPU.

yer ive got a i7 rig kicks ass too but it annoys me having to run 4 screens off it as it spilts sli between my 50 and 22 so i lose half the fps just to clone the picture ??? (nvidia get your act together) i have got an old pc which also go to my tv through vga lead and has my gigaworks pluged into for films as my main rig has its own 5.1 and would not sound right for films so i use my old pc as a htpc for music and films and anyone who wants to surf the web and due to buying a new tv i would like to use blu ray and get proper DTS sound and 1080p picture i would like a 180 opty for my old machine(which are way to expensive now mers well go core 2 duo or am2) which was the 1st pc i built and cant bear to sell it lol :(
