hello there,
many years ago for a bit of fun i did a djing course during a summer holiday.
I really enjoyed it and now i would to try out djing for a bit o' fun
The thing is, at the course, she only had garage, which although wasn't bad, not really my sort of music.
Im mainly in to punky/classic rock sort of stuff, but there is some dance music i really like, including paul van dyke's we are alive and a couple of Heaven is a place on earth remixs that ive heard.
I'd really like to dj with that sort of music, dance but with like an emotional side.
So i was wondernig if you guys could reccommend some simular sort of music to listen to? And if there are any good djing books around that tell you the basics?
cheers
