would this work on a Z270?

Because when the RAM came out and Corsair sent us the set up for it online the Z270 Chipset was not available. Z270 is just a revision of Z170 if anything the CPU has better memory controller. So any kit working Z170 is lso working Z270 and from my testing so far is also working Z370 which is the next Intel Chipset due out relatively soon.

Thanks for the explanation, so the rule would still apply if i have a DDR4 MOBO any DDR4 RAM would work?

With Intel in almost all cases yes. Upto like 3200Mhz over this depends on Imc Chipset etc. With amd no. For high speed you need very specific memory.

All work default 2133Mhz yes.
