Would you buy an electric car ?

Assume because the first gen car had a 0-60 of 12.7 secs and an interior that looked like this:

Yes times have changed for the Prius, but some of its old reputation still lives on amongst the haters.

LOL, a picture of a US version from 10 years ago? , your more stuck in the past than I thought you were
Try comparing some of your own favourite cars from 10 years ago and you'll get the same result

Hello dear two-wheel users, commuters and London citizens, I am a student of a French Business School, and for our English class, we have to set up a Business Plan: our main idea was the hire of electric scooters in self-service (like Barclays Cycle Hire). We would like to have the opinion of English Commuters and two-wheel users, to see if you could be interested in this idea. (this Business Plan won't be realize in real, but please be honest in your answers). This questionnaire won't be long.

Thank you for your attention, and please take this 3 minutes to answer.

Fuel cell: yes, cos that's spaceship tech (Apollo 11 used fuel cells) and therefore awesome

Battery: no, I fail to see how plugging the car into the grid to charge it from power supplied by a fossil fuel fired or nuclear power station instead of fuelling the car direct via fossil fuels solves anything

*edit*

And as far as PR garbage like the Prius goes, the nickel for its batteries is mined in Ontario Canada (the plant that smelts this nickel is nicknamed "the Superstack" because of the amount of pollution it puts out, the area for miles around it is a wasteland because of acid rain and air pollution.) that smelted nickel then has to travel (via big diesel powered container ship) to Norway to be refined, then to China (via big diesel powered container ship) to be made into "nickel foam," then to Japan (via big diesel powered container ship) for assembly, and finally to the UK production plant to go in the car (I dunno if this is by failboat or bearforce). Just like the electric cars its not really saving the environment just offloading the damage to another source...
