I say no as well, because as has already been mentioned, it will just get into a mess. There's only ever one active steam deals thread at the time, while there's always far more WoW threads

With an official thread, you would constantly have to have the OP updated with the latest deals, so you would need to find someone who would be active enough, and bothered enough to do this, while a new deals thread can be made by anyone.

the subforum sounds better as it would still give you a good chance to catch current deals and games in the individual threads

Yes to a thread if owned by someone, and first post updated frequently.
No otherwise, because as mentioned above it'll turn into a free for all post splurgefest.

Hmm' I just voted yes but now I'm not sure. If the thread has a no discussion rule then I can see threads popping up about steam deals to discuss and ask if the games are worth the cash etc, making the main thread useless.

I actually prefer it when a new thread is made for each new deal - that way I know when there is a new deal - if it was all in one thread, I'd just see a new post and might miss a deal

Actually, why stick to just a Steam deal subforum? Why not make it one for any great deals on PC games that people spot? Obviously not ones that OcUK sell... though what if Mafia 2 is on a steam deal? That's a competitor, no?

Anyway, I change my vote to the non-existant option of 'make a PC game deals subforum'

The idea is great, but you can be assured that a new thread will start (at least one) for each sale regardless of the thread being available.
