Hey guys,
I've got really wierd problem with my connection.
Whenever i'm playing WoW, and i have Teamspeak open with a friend connected, my ADSL connection keeps disconnecting. Its not just my PC, its the connection itself. My PC is connected to a Netgear DG834G v2 router, along with 3 other pc's. I can play WoW for hours without a problem, even with TS open, but as soon as my friend joins the TS server (and WoW) i keep getting disconnected every 5-10 minutes. It is not my PCs NIC because i can still connect to the router, and the router shows that the ADSL is down. It will reconnect again easily, but then 5-10 mins later it will do the same again.
I can;t understand how my friend connecting to the TS server and WoW could be affecting the actual connection itself, and nothing helpful has come from googling.
I don't think its a problem at BTs end, because my friend lives about 100 yards away and is on the same BT package going to the same exchange.
I thought that the router might be overheating, so i have a 12 inch desk fan blowinga gale over it, and it is now stone cold, but that has had no effect.
Can anyone think of what could be causing this because it has me completely stumped.
Thanks in advance
Gopher
