Basically i was after a new screen for the bedroom. It's going to sit at the foot of the bed on the wall (about 10inches from the foot of the bed)
my original idea was to wall mount the screen (plasterboard) but now i'm thinking it may be better to reinforce the stud wall to accomadate to larger screen.

I was going to go LED, but have decided for the money (around £600+) my money would be better spent on a larger lcd screen. So heres where you guys come in.

I'm looking for a screen (42+ for my budget) it's only ever connected to my pc, and the main viewing is Blu-ray / DivX, however a ps3 may be on the cards. So what are my options for my budget?? ( i am willing to go less or to strech a little more)

Thanks in advance

PS, i'm running an amp with floor standing speakers, so no need to spec on sound!

Why would you need to reinforce the wall? I'd be very surprised if you couldn't put pretty much any TV you wanted on wall like that, it's just a case of attaching it to the studs and not plasterboard.

I have this tv SAMSUNG LE40B530 in 42" picked it up for £429.

Wouldn't that be a 40"?

Anyways back OT.

For that budget I would personally be looking at a Panasonic Plasma. You can get the better specced 42" G10 panel for £699 or the X10 panel for around £500. I havent got one yet, but from what I've read on AV Forums and the like Panasonic plasmas are really good T.V's.
