Car isn't even back yet and despite it's already huge spec, I'm buying stuff:

It's a Megan racing front lower h-brace, basically braces up and stiffens all the front suspension mounts.

This is a highly rated mod amongst 'teg owners, and for less than £50 delivered from the states I thought I'd take a punt.

Just want the car back now :(
 
Mine looks like that...

Its still in the garage though, it won't fit. the front pickups are about 1/2" from sitting on the subframe like they should and even if they did the cross brace is touching my exhaust manifold - system joint.
 
That is such a good price for what looks like a quality bit of fabrication. Wish stuff for old Fords was still that cheap :(

I wish stuff for even not-that-old fords existed! I can't even find a front ARB that's been uprated. nevermind things like this.

All I know at the moment is all 8 exhaust valves are bent, should no more in the next couple of days.

Yeah I don't doubt I'll have to do a spot of butchery to get it to fit.
 
Mine would probably fit if i slotted the rear pickup points more.

I kind of avoid touching the lower arms now though as the captive nuts are not longer captive in the subframe and take ages to get back on the bolt as the only way i can get to them is through a little hole with my little finger
 
i'd like to get one for mine but where I live is speed bump central, my 4-1 catches as it is now so i'd hate to think what anything lower would be like :(

you dont want to touch the front roll bar you want to upgrade the rear one :) on the SVT contour they made the front one smaller to imrpove the handling

Long story short: I was about to spend ££££s on my Integra, then Si (JediFragger) offered me his already modified Integra Type-R for a good price. So I sold mine and bought the ITR, unfortunately the cambelt went on the way home.

It's currently with Powerstation being repaired.

i know i have to upgrade the rear but i thought that the front would matter too :o hmm.


btw i've got my full koni adjustable set up on now, and it's very nice :) shame i cant access the top of the rear struts. going to have to take a hole saw to the boot so i can get to them to adjust them!
 
It's a disease mate - never catch me wasting money on contunually modding cars with shiny, sexy, must have performance and styling addons..

Sorry to hear about the Teg mate, hope the damage is sortable and at least it's in good hands..
