That's not the sound card doing that - that's just BF2 crashing :p

But when it the game does work - Ultra High settings, on some good head phones, with the 3D sounds enabled is pure class. Mind blowing to say the least.

Nopes this error only comes up when i have this soundcard installed i don't get this error with onboard sound, when bf2 crashes it just kicks me too desktop its not the same.

I have a decent set of headphones but as i said im not really that impressed was expecting higher quality sound of it.

I don't know what you are expecting or what headphones you've used.. But the Beyerdynamic DT880 for instance are absolutely terrible when used with an onboard sound card. Even moving up to the A2NX makes a very appreciable difference. Grado cans on the other hand are a bit more forgiving... But I'd be very hard pressed to go back to onboard sound card now.
