I think i'm gonna buy me this card, seeings as its got all the multimedia features i like, couple with a fast card.

Has anyone had any experiences? And do you know if the Zalman VF700 is able to fit on it?

I remember the 9800pro aiw, making myself and probably most nforce2 users feeling, that ati should stick to what theyre good at,and i wished id bought a hauppage.

I too would like to know if ati have sorted the sound bugs and noise feedback that plagued this 9800 range.Or if theyve carried it through to this series?

Hows your card operating these days?

I thnk ATI's current AIW cards are great. No problems as described above at all.

So, where does this card sit in my books? Rather high up, when I consider the exceptional 3D performance attained from the card along with the multimedia features including a stellar TV tuner. It is great that this card takes up only a single slot, including the cooler. This is the first card I have reviewed that uses ATI’s AVIVO technology and I loved every moment of watching the gaming benchmarks run. The image quality was great and I found it to be much more realistic than the competition’s offering as well as previous ATI offerings.

Over the years, ATI's All-In-Wonder series of video cards have been the card of choice for those looking for a complete 3D Graphics card/TV-Tuner hybrid.* With little competition and a consistent release schedule of new models, ATI sits atop the all-in-one food chain, with the most popular option available.

We couldn't help but be impressed by the All-In-Wonder X1800 XL. ATI has taken the already powerful Radeon X1800 XL and equipped it with all of the multimedia functionality that has made their All-In-Wonder product line a success over the years.

the All-In-Wonder X1800 XL is unmatched in terms of overall features. Simply put, this card can run any game you throw at it with more than acceptable framerates, while offering an unsurpassed assortment of multimedia, TV and video functionality as well. The All-In-Wonder X1800 XL is arguably the most feature-rich video card produced to date. Couple that with the new software bundle what includes some popular applications form Adobe and Gemstar's Guide+, and ATI has an obvious success on their hands

As I said above with the image quality comparison, the anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering was very effective and provided a nice soft edge instead of a pixel studded view which means you can count on quality graphics when you’re expecting them. The X1800XL multimedia graphics card can be found for a very reasonable $401 USD (approximately $460 CAD) which is great when you consider how much it costs for the competitor’s top-of-the-line card, which doesn’t include multimedia functionality.

Cheers mate.

I think this is going to be my next big purchase. I was going to get a Sugo too, i hope it fits :D

Hopefully the support continues strong (unlike 9800se aiw) and ati have got some of the quirks fixed this round.
the cards probably full sized so theres hope of plenty of space between the tuner and core;) for a massive zalaman or something.
