Just built a 2nd rig from spares running Windows XP home and having trouble running my Dell 2407wfp at native resolution on VGA. If I set it to anything above 1600x1200 (including 1900x1200) it shows a smaller window and scrolls around it when I move the mouse to the edges.
Video card is an X1800XT 256mb. I've used it with the same monitor on VGA (with DVI converter) in another rig. 2407wfp analogue drivers are installed but the monitor is still reported as 'standard monitor' (note: not plug and play) in CCC. I'm assuming the solution will be to uninstall and reinstall both monitor and graphics drivers. Any comments?
Doesn't really matter if I don't sort it quikly - only testing it with the Dell. It's going to be used with a 17" CRT once everything's up and running.
Edit: nevermind. It's working today.
