X1800XT + VF-900: How hard is it to take off the mem sinks?

Hi guys,

Got these two coming today and was just wondering whether it's worth putting the mem sinks, on seeing as the fan provides cooling for the memory as well as the core.

I don't mind putting them on but if i ever need to RMA the card then how hard are they to get off?

They came off of my X800XL ok, had to give them a twist to get them off, but it was by no means hard work.
You may want to use a pair of plyers though to get a grip on the memsink, there sharp

They need budging but they definitely come off, leverage with something helps if you find it's stuck down too hard but it shouldn't come to that.
