X1900XT and Omega Drivers

Hi

I've recently upgraded to a Radeon X1900XT card and could not get omega drivers to work properly with it.The driver installed fine, but it seemed to be missing drivers for the "T200 AVstream". In the end I've had to install ccc which I'm not exactly thrilled about having to use. Does anyone know if its possible to install this driver seperately from the omega drivers?

Stick with the ATi drivers tbh a lot more safer and you can't go wrong with them. A lot of people would recommend the Omega Drivers but I would go for ATi.

Where do I get those from. Are they just the single driver download from the ATI web-site? Never had a VIVO card b4 so I'm not entirely sure?

Ah nice one Jus seen d link. Will scrap ccc and give those drivers a try. Never had any good experiences on my old ATI card with ccc so I'd rather get omega drivers workin 1st.

Omega Drivers are created by an ATI tester so he knows what he is doing.
They are as safe as the ATI ones.
When i got my 1900XT i installed the latest Omega drivers plus the wdms. No problems.

Also Omegadrivers work with Dawn Of War at 32bit colour

If I use Cat drivers then all the menus get messed up and can't be read.

I'm sure it must be a setting that Cat drivers have on/off by default and Omega have them off/on by default.

Couldn't get CCC to work at all with my X800XT. Kept coming up with an error, even after a clean windows install.

I'm running omega drivers now, and will be on both new rigs with 1900XT's.

if im using a vga cable, do i need the wdm drivers or just the omega drivers?

what the difference between these and the ati drivers.

been using omegas sinse 2003 with no probs abd also driverheavens which can be found here

the guys are members of driverheaven foer yrs like omega,are vey helpful
the dhzer0point driver are tweaked for gaming and work well on pc and laptop as i have used them as well,if you dont want ccc,go for omegas and install dwn drivers on top

what?? do i install the omega drivers with the wdm driver and then install the zero point drivers on top. or just one at a time?!?

if you want the drivers with ccc,install the moded zero point driver set as they have the wdm in package set
if you dont want the ccc,install omegas with wdm driver after you install the omegas
