Hi, I'm not really satisfied with my X1900XTX at high resolutions.. Using Dell 2407 resolution of 1920*1200 and the XTX isnt coping to well..

Would the GX2 make a sigificant difference and is it compatible with the Asus A8N SLI Premium...

Thx..

Should see a good improvement in performance, especially if you pile on lots and lots of antialiasing and anisotropic filtering. As far as I know they're also compatible with any SLi motherboard, and some standard (non-SLi) nForce4 chipsets too.

I know its just to GT's bolted together but how would you setup the motherboard to accept it? would the EZ-Plug need to be connected, i'm guessing it will take two SLI power connectors. Will the mobo need to be set to SLI or will it work as a single card....

That also leads to another question, is the Antec 550W TP2.0 enough ?

Yes, lots of questions... :p

That power supply should be enough, and it only uses one 6-pin power connector formt he power supply.

It wouldnt need the EZ-Plug connected would it, you know the extra power when SLI's enabled considering its still only using one slot..

Thought about the same upgrade myself....let me kow if there is much improvement over the 1900xtx. cheers....
