X1950 Pro or 8600 GTS?

Currently spec'ing a PC for a mate.
He will be running a widescreen LCD at 1440x900 res for BF2142 mainly.
Not too worried about out of this world anti aliasing etc but want reasonable looking and good fps.

Should he go for

Sapphire X1950 Pro 512MB @ £84.99
OR
OcUK 8600 GTS 256MB @ £99.99

X1950 is quicker i think, although it doesnt have DX10 where the 8600 does, but if its just for BF2142 get the X1950.

x1950pro is faster, don't even take Dx10 on the 8600 into consideration as its crippled by being 128bit, so wont run it very well at all.
