X1950XT 3D 2005 benchmark scores - post yours :D

I just ran benchmark 2005 on my new X1950XT using the latest 6.12 drivers and wanted to see how my card compares to others , so pls post your results for comparions

Cpu is Opteron 170 dual core
mem is 2G corsair

both are at stock till i make sure system is stable.

my 3D 2005 score was 10038

Got 10580 at stock with my sapphire x1950xt (3dmark 2005). With 6.12s.

6300 @ 2.8ghz, X1900XT @ 650 core/750 memory with cats 6.12, everything set to "performance"

So you've overclocked the card and are running with performance settings ?

That is a good score surely ? specially since that is on an X1900XT

Ran 2005 the other day and i got 9500 or so..
Thats with 6600 @ 3.33 ghz, 2GB Ram and the 1950XTX at stock

Changing a few settings then will try again i guess.... having no luck with Ati Tools though, keeps crashing comp.

Just ran it again and got 13512, thats with 6.12 drivers and no overclock on the 1950

Edit: Fully stable system, i run Everquest 2, Source and Double Agent all day and no crashes.
Double Edit: I know that doesnt mean fully stable in some peoples minds

Just as a comparison, i ran it last night using 6.12's on an X1800XT 512Mb slightly overclocked and got 10002.

Thats with an Athlon 64 4000+ @ 3000ghz

and Graphics card at 688/945 and catalyst 6.12

Thats not what I'd expect tbh.

I get over 10k at 6xAA and 16xAF with high quality at 709/845 with my X1900XTX

Maybe it's a driver thing new card etc,(a lot of x1950xt users, especially connect models have had trouble with drivers).
I could only use the 6.10's that came on the cd, just updated to the 6.12's but didn't notice any improvement.
Oh and i only scored 10400, x1950xt at stock.

after a day or so i will start clocking cpu/ram/card and see as atm my good corsair is at cas 3 ..lol for example and my cpu is 100% stock,,same for card as it is not getting oc unless it 100% sure is ok and not faulty

you are probably suffering driver issues - you should be nailing an easy 13k with that overclock and the XTX.

and a few people are clocking higher scores than the X1950XT with X1900XT cards - I'd expect that to change with the next release of drivers.

My score is 10141 no overclock cat 6.12 without the ATI controll panel (pc dont like it)
ive only just put this pc together so i need to tweek it a bit

Thats not much of a bump for an XT, I would have thought I would have got the same with a Pro.

Still, im blaming the drivers and a little throttling by my cpu? Certainly the cpu test portions barely move shuddering all over the place. Will fiddle later.

CPU tests are always ****, my 3.6ghz C2D doesn't do much more than 2FPS

I wouldn't worry about the cpu tests,it's meant to be really hard on them.
My amd 64 4000 clocked to 3hz looks like a slide show.
What's the card like compared to your x850xt when playing your latest games that you have run on your old card ?.
Personally i noticed i could up the eye candy and resolution on my x1950xt and get better frame rates compared to my old x800xtpe.
Concerning drivers i do think (hope) ATI release better drivers for this card in the future.
One more thing did you set the settings to performance in the ATI control centre,and run the test at its native settings ?.
