G-DDR3 > G-DDR4 ;)

X1900XTX = X1950XTX at about 650/820 ;)

But I have to LOL at that result, as some people are buying it for the high end his res pushing power and its not that good at all!

I notice the OP hasn't bothered to add the other benchmarks from the site he got those from...

I've got better things to do with my time than link to more images, but lets just say it doesn't pan out quite like those two...

(for all the others)

Probably because everyone already knows the Geforce8 series is miles better in general, this thread is about HDR+AA performance and it seems the Geforce8 series sucks at it from first reports. Dude, it's all in the title.

That review doesn't make pretty reading for anyone looking at the 8800GTS. The X1950XTX is right on it's heels most benchmarks, and beats it in some.

I was considering a GTS, but, if this is what we can expect, my money will be going to the red camp this round :)

[Edit] In the Oblivion benchies, there are no results posted for AA. Does this mean the 8800 series STILL can't do HDR+AA?

Your point?

Don't post if you have better things to do.

Im not bothered about a fight im just showing current x1950xtx owners they are now way out of the game.

Maybe they just left it out because Bethesda haven't made it a check-box option yet, not sure as I've not actually gotten around to reading the review yet.

Expect hilarious results, but you get the general idea. :D

Grammar is poor.

It's not clear why there are no benchies for Oblivion with AA and HDR on nVidia hardware.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't supported on the card. Maybe it will be come the next driver package.

wondering if it is worth selling my x1900 after all.....

From those benchies, definitely NOT.

looks like now is the time to sell up. i want a g80. the gts will do for me. ill sell my x1900 on for 100 quid then add another 200 odd quid to it and get g80 :D :D getting all excited now.

As I noted in a couple of other threads... my 7950GX2 overclocked gets better results than the 8800GTS is getting in the benchmarks published to so far - in some cases I'm getting 2000 points more in 3D Marks 06 and only just slower than the 8800GTX...

It is like you don't actually read the thread or replies :p

'Shall I get 4gb of RAM?'

'no'
'no'
'no'

'Well I got 4GB' :D

I'll have the x1900xt for £100 though ;)
