Is the 4200+ worth the extra over the 3800+. i will be overclocking.

Cheers. I may as well get the OEM model, my freezer could do with a clean but i may as well get another one and keep this one as a spare.
Sweet, what mobo are you running that on?
If i can get to 2.5 then i will be happy

Am really leaning towards the 4200+ as im guessing the higher multi will aid in overclocking.
My board tops out at 267HTT, so if i got a 3800+ that would give me 2.67Ghz ( assuming the cpu is a decent clocker ) but the 4200+ would give me almost 3Ghz.
At worst im hoping i can get it to 2.7Ghz the same as my current 3700+

Well if i got the 3800+ i would get the retail chip as ive heard its better steppings for overclocking, so then the 4200+ would only be £35 more.
