We now have a range of binned and delidded i7 and i9 CPU's tested on the X299 platform available from OCUK. We have i7 7740X upto 5.3ghz available, i9 7800X available upto 4.9ghz and i9 7900X available upto 4.9ghz. All pre tested CPU's are delidded.

We also now have a range bundles using the above binned i7 and i9 7800X available using these CPU's the ASUS Strix board and upto 64gb 8Pack 3200mhzC14 mems. These bundles of course come with a minimum of 240 AIO cooler for the i7 and a minimum of 360 AIO cooler for the i9 although I do recommend a custom loop for the best possible results. This along with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste will all help to keep these power house chips cool in operation while offering great performance as can always be expected from Intel especially when overclocked.

Here is a video to describe in detail the binning and delidding process and go through some performance benchmarks for these CPU's and Bundles and also further OC and tweaking options.

Here are screenshots of testing first showing the improvement of delidding the i7 7740X CPU

and the performance of the 5.2ghz bin CPU in several benches.

And some stability with high Cache and mem speeds too which shows how Cache and memory can be pushed.

Now onto the i9 7800X
Here are screenshots of testing first showing the improvement of delidding the i9 7800X CPU

and the performance of the i9 7800X at 4.9ghz

and some stability testing with high cache and mems showing how these can be pushed to gain further performance.

Any questions ask away on this thread.

The 7740X prices are crazy epic for the speed, we have the CPU and the mems now we just need motherboards of equal magnitude!

It would be interesting to see the 7740x at 5.4ghz vs the 7700K at 5ghz

Bigger numbers look better but don't forget the 7740 falls behind the 7700 in GAMING, clock-for-clock.

A 7740x has crazy cache oc ability and Imc. This when overclocked which reviewers never max out means the 7740x ipc is better in gaming than 7700K. Ofcourse the platform is more expensive.

That [email protected] looks more epic that AMD's EPYC it would be great if You included ST bench also since thats where those should shine :D

So what do you actually do?
Delid, pit liquid metal on the core ...and then?
Do you put liquid metal on the ihs from the inside as well? If not then it is recommended.
Do you glue the ihs back or?

Do you also offer an option to leave it non glued and no paste so we can do it ourselves ?
