Hi All,
i seem to be having a rather strange issue, but i cant really find anything about it online or even figure out how to solve it, has anybody else encountered this and resolved it?
specs are:
cpu: 3900x stock
mobo: gigabyte x570 aorus pro f34 bios
ram: corsair 32gb ddr 4 cl18 4 x 4gb
gpy: mba 6800x
display: lg ultrawide (cant recall the excat model)
psu: phanteks revolt pro 850w
the issue is that if i power on the machine before the monitor, i can not get a post even after multiple power cycles. i have to clear the cmos and then power of and back on again.
but if i turn on the monitor before the machine, everything is fine.
ive tried different displays, cables (currently using a hdmi cabl to the monitor and dp cable to a rift through an adapter), its fine on the same gpu in an older skylake system.
seems to be a board issue and ive had the issue since x570 released thinking that maybe a bios update would fix it, (ive tried every single bios on release including the betas - non of them helped).
anyone have any ideas? hopefully something ive missed.
